I have no interest in the Tetris Movie...

 

Watched this trailer, and honestly, I don't feel anything towards it.  Can we not just have a good old fashioned documentary? Does it have to be some form of docudrama or dramedy? After reading about this years ago, I'd be more inclined to have Henk Rogers just regail us of tales of globetrotting through the iron curtain and coaxing Alexi Pajitnov into giving him and Nintendo the rights to publish Tetris on the Gameboy.  

If I were to say something positive about this, at least the actor portraying Hiroshi Yamauchi looks spot on. Hell, if you want to do an actual Dramedy on video games, why not just do a re-enactment of the fabled Microsoft meeting where Yamauchi allegedly told the representatives where to go?
