Modern writers & the ignorance of "killing canon"..

                     

The problem with the majority of talk about canon that has graced twitter is that it's based in the idea that if nothing matters then we can tell any type of story we want regardless of whether it fits properly in the lore, or with established characters. Of course, when you start to adapt this line of logic, you tend to get the low quality stories that we have been getting, recently.

Disregarding something so simple as canon opens the door to low quality storytelling and writers basically never evolving past the amateurish fanfic to deliver a story that is on par or better than what's come before. Despite being a bit of a long winded video, In this edition of FSBF we'll talk about the origins of Canon, the concept of postmodernism, and how the latter works parasitically to destroy the former.
