"Easy Mode" for Journos was Monkey's Paw wish...

                        

First they tried to tell us that an easy mode in games is necessary for everyone to enjoy the game, then they tried to tell us that it would be beneficial for people with disabilities, then it was said that an easy mode wouldn't ruin the experience of a game... now with Final Fantasy VII's release Kotaku's Mike Fahey states that the easy mode completely turns the game into a visual novel, and completely invalidates the entire argument. Hmm... interesting.
