Has anyone seen the Amazon.com customer reviews for Modern Warfare 2? I haven't seen a group of gamers stand together like this in a long long time, and you know what? this is exactly what the consumer should be doing in this situation.
I'm sorry, but when developers start shoveling gimped software at people thinking that they'll eat it up regardless, then they deserve everything that's coming to them. If that means having your loving fanbase turn on you, then so be it.
The basic fundamental truth behind this is that the customer is always right. You treat the customer right and they'll always come back. you treat them like crap, and they'll spend their hard earned cash somewhere else.
I don't know what's funnier; seeing what the gamers have to say about MW2 or seeing the industry pleasure themselves all over this game
