potential 360 owners may never have to worry about another red light again. since June, new batches of Xbox 360 consoles are being fitted with Jasper motherboards, and new graphics chips which are now smaller and emit less heat than the older models. Well if you were waiting on an Xbox because of the issues now would probably be a good time to get one.

Of course Microsoft will not disclose the reason behind the malfunctioning 360s. Hell, didn't Microsoft just fire one of their guys because he admitted that they had a serious problem with the console?





Girl gamers are on the rise. A recent article from Rueters states that 38 percent of U.S. gamers are female, up from 33 percent in just five years. so says IBISWorld. The article also states that Females between the ages of 18 to 45 make up a whopping 28 percent of total industry revenue.

Of course some people would say that this is the fabled "Causal gaming market" that developers are trying to tap into. How do we do that? ... make games like Fashion Designer, Master Chef and Babyz *rolls eyez* You guys want to get more fem gamers on board then stop being condecending pricks and start asking these ladies what it is they're into. If you stop and listen you'll probably find that they like some of the same games us guys like. I'm sure Jessica Chobot would have some interesting ideas.
